Behandeling met doxycycline leek aanvankelijk afdoende voor een nodus met een paarsrode rand op de rechterbovenarm waarin de 25-jarige man ook spierpijn had. De nodus was vijf maanden eerder ontstaan, na insectenbeten tijdens een vakantie in Kroatië. Een kleine twee maanden later meldt de patiënt zich opnieuw bij de huisarts. De wond is groter en stinkt. Wat ziet u?
